A Shell Station in Wilmington was held up Saturday afternoon, and now police are searching for the armed robber.

A man wearing a black mask and hooded sweatshirt walked into the gas station on S. Walnut Street around 2pm. He then whipped out a handgun and demanded money, which the cashier turned over.

The suspect is described as a male about 5'10" to 5'11" with a full beard, last seen fleeing the scene in a white older model sedan.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Wilmington Police Confidential Tip Line 302-576-3990.
