Wilmington man faces drug charges after pedestrian stop

A Wilmington man faces drug charges after police discovered marijuana and drugs on him during a pedestrian stop.

Wilmington Police say 20-year-old Andrew Bolden was observed loitering on the 200 block of North Clayton Street by two patrol officers Saturday afternoon.

After taking Bolden into custody for loitering, police say he was holding eight grams of crack cocaine, two grams of marijuana and 29 Xanax pills.

Bolden is a probationer and convicted drug offender. He was released on $24,000 unsecured bail.
