Ursuline netters sweep AI on the road

After A.I. claimed the opening point of the match, Brenna Williams' kill finished off a three point streak for Ursuline, and the Raiders would not trail again in winning the opening set 25-16.
Ursuline quickly jumped out in the second set 3-0, and used a couple of scramble points after diving digs by Taylor Hollingsworth to put how to a 13-8 lead. From there the Raiders went on a 12-3 run to take a convincing two sets to none lead.
The Tigers put up strong resistance in the final set, jumping ahead 15-9 on a kill by senior Taylor Rapuano. Ursuline steadily worked there way into the match, with an Abram's spike giving Ursuline their second lead of the set at 19-18. From there they would surrender just two more points, as they went on to a 25-20 victory.
Ursuline improved to 11-2 thanks to 20 kills from Abrams along with 19 digs. Hollingsworth finished with 29 digs. Courtney MacDonald led A.I. (11-3) with 16 kills and 15 digs.
