By Frank Gerace

A shooting in New Castle's Rose Hill parkland has left a man in critical condition, and County Police are looking for a pair of suspects.

Police say they found the victim around 2 Wednesday afternoon.

He'd been shot several times, and after he was treated at the scene by paramedics, he was airlifted to Christiana Hospital.

The men police are looking for are described as black, one with a thin build and riding a dirt bike, the other with a large build and riding a four-wheeler.

Police say the two rode into Oakmont and took off toward Rogers Road after the shooting.

Anyone with information can call County Police or Crimestoppers.
