The University of Delaware is canceling classes for Monday, and advising students to go home this weekend to avoid the effects of Hurricane Sandy.

UD has also canceled all its sponsored campus events Saturday through Monday.

Services will still be available for students who decide to stay on campus.

University employees are expected to report to work on their normal schedules, and for more information, students and employees can check UD's homepage and official Facebook and Twitter pages.
