| VIDEO: Sean Greene and Jason Bowen break down Wesley's win over Apprentice | Wesley's 47-0 victory was not enough to keep them in the D3football.com Top 5 this week, as they fell to number six behind Wisconsin-Oshkosh.
The Wolverines wrapped up an 8-1 regular season with the victory over their former conference rivals from the Apprentice School. Despite that, Wesley lost 18 poll points from the 25 voters who make up each week's rankings.
UW-Oshkosh is 8-0, including a victory over 3-time defending national champion Wisconsin-Whitewater. UWO actually lost 3 poll points themselves, but easily made up the difference to jump past Wesley.
The top 4 remained unchanged, with Mount Union, Mary Hardin-Baylor, Linfield, and St. Thomas (Minn.) ranking ahead of UWO and Wesley.
Previous Wesley opponents Salisbury and Huntingdon remain in the poll at 11th and 17th, while Louisiana College rates just outside the top 25 with the second most "others receiving votes."
Wesley has the final week of the regular season off, and will await a very likely Pool B bid to the NCAA Division III National Tournament which is announced Sunday. It would be Wesley's 8th straight trip to the Field of 32.
