Suspicious vehicle leads to drug bust
A Wilmington man is under arrest for allegedly possessing five bundles of heroin.
County Police say they received a report of a suspicious vehicle in the Deerborne Woods development near Glasgow Tuesday. Police caught up with the car at a gas station nearby and say the driver, Robert Thomas, made several inconsistent statements.
A K9 search of his car turned up more than 50 bags of heroin packaged for sale and $300 in suspected drug money.
Thomas is charged with drug possession with intent to deliver. He's free on 1,000 bail
