Ocean City mayor says pier damaged by Sandy will be rebuilt

Mayor Rick Meehan tells The Daily Times that the owner of the pier, which is franchised by the city, is committed to having the pier open for the summer season in 2013.
The remains following the storm - rows of pilings - were also removed to minimize the risk to boats.
