Sanford's McMillian to play hoops at UNCW

Sanford guard Johanna McMillan will be taking her talents to the beach after signing a National Letter of Intent to play at UNC-Wilmington next season.
The 5'8" senior averaged 11 points and 3 rebounds a game for the state runners-up. Johanna recorded 13 double-digit scoring games and was named to the All-Independent Conference 1st team, and was an honorable mention All-State performer.
She was a key part of championship teams for the Warriors in 2010 and 2011.
UNCW is beginning it's first season under the direction of Adell Harris, a 2002 Wake Forest alum who previously coached at Tusculum College. Last year the Seahawks went 20-13 overall, and 11-7 in the CAA, falling in the conference semifinals to eventual-champion Delaware.
