VIDEO: Abram signs her National Letter of Intent

Ursuline Academy senior Mary Abram has signed a Letter of Intent to join the University of Delaware lacrosse team next season.

Abram, who also has starred on the volleyball and basketball teams at the school, has scored 64 goals in two years on the lacrosse varsity. Last season Abram was named 2nd-team all-state.

Ursuline Lacrosse coach Lauren Berg calls Mary a "gifted athlete and her athleticism and tenacity serve her well on the field."

Mary recorded 12 kills and 24 digs in Ursuline's narrow 3-2 loss to Padua in the state championship volleyball match Monday night.

Delaware finished 8-9 a year ago under the direction of first-year coach Kateri Linville, an '03 alum of the school.
