DAFB's shooter exercise interrupted by false reports of real shooter
A routine security exercise at Dover Air Force Base leads to a lockdown and false reports of a shooter being on the base.
The 436th Airlift Wing was running their scheduled active shooter exercise Thursday when they say an unrelated series of events led them to believe a real shooter was on site.
The base was placed on lockdown at 10:45, but that's since been lifted, after officials found the reports to be wrong. There was never an actual shooter at the base.
