Teen killed in downstate crash
State Police say a 16-year-old has been killed in a single-vehicle crash in Georgetown.
It happened about 3:30 p.m. Wednesday on Asbury Road. Troopers say Logan Taylor Roe of Millsboro was driving west when he failed to negotiate a curve.
Police say Roe's vehicle left the road, hit a telephone pole, spun around and stopped in a densely wooded area.
Roe was pronounced dead at the scene. An 18-year-old passenger was treated and released at a local hospital.
The accident is under investigation.
