Victim in Naamans Road fatal identified
We now know the name of the man killed on Naamans Road Thursday as he tried to walk across the roadway.
State Police say 48-year-old Barry Flegal of Kennett Square was struck just west of Shipley Road around 4pm.
He was taken to Christiana Trauma Center, where he was pronounced dead.
No charges have been filed against the driver, who wasn't hurt, and police are continuing their accident investigation.
