National Adoption Day event Saturday in Dover

Families considering adoption in Delaware can get information all in one place at the 5th annual National Adoption Day event in Delaware Saturday.
"On any given day, there are about 50 children in our state who are looking for their permanent families and get the support that they desperately need," said Andrea Wojcik of the Delaware Kids Department.

There are workshops for adoptive parents and those considering becoming adoptive parents, and a lunch ceremony celebrating last year's 99 adoptions in the state.
