Seven Salesianum athletes signed National Letters of Intent to play Division I athletics during a ceremony at the school Friday afternoon.
The state championship lacrosse program will send 4 to the top level of NCAA competition next year: Chase Cowan to Colgate, Craig Zebrowski to Boston University, Sean Giampietro to Ohio State, and Graham Seuffert to Bryant.
Sueffert scored two goals in the Sals 13-2 state championship victory over Caesar Rodney last year, a victory that capped off a perfect in-state season.
Salesianum will be represented by a pair of Division I baseball players, as pitchers Zach Flowers and Grant Lamberton will be going to Tulane and Monmouth. Tulane last appeared in the College World Series in 2005.
Meanwhile Matt Stasiunas will be taking his taking his swimming talents to Penn State next year. The Nittany Lions finished 17th in the NCAA championships a year ago.
Brady Cotler also announced that he will be playing baseball at Division III Washington College in Maryland, although that school does not offer athletics scholarships.
Football's National Signing Day will take place in February.
