DEDO Director calls for no FY 2014 agency budget increase
By Frank Gerace

Delaware Economic Development Office Director Alan Levin is calling for no increase in DEDO's budget for Fiscal 2014.

Speaking at a public hearing Tuesday, Alan Levin called on the state Office of Management and Budget to address what he called DEDO's "most pressing" priorities, including job creation, business support, entrepreneurial programs and workforce training.

DEDO's General Fund budget request totals just over 2 million, 800 thousand dollars, including a Capital Budget request of more than 37 thousand, about 32 thousand of which will be used to re-capitalize Delaware's Strategic Fund.
