UD comes up short against Temple
By Don Voltz

Delaware shot almost 57 per cent from the floor, their best shooting since 2009, but they fell short against Temple Sunday afternoon, 80-75.

The Owls connected on 11 three-pointers compared to just 4 for the Blue Hens.

Delaware was short-handed, with forward Josh Brinkley out with an ankle injury and guard Jarvis Threatt sidelined with an abdominal injury.

But Delaware got big games from Jamelle Hagins and Devon Saddler...Hagins scored a career-high 29 points and grabbed 12 rebounds while Saddler scored 25.

Delaware dropped its third straight and fell to 2-4...they travel to Lafayette on Wednesday night.
