A Dover man who was shot has another problem now; he's also been arrested.

Police say Michael Palmer was in a hotel room at the Dover Inn when he was shot early Thanksgiving morning.

When police got to his room in the motel at 428 North DuPont Highway, they smelled pot and found about five ounces of it, along with ecstasy, heroin and $1,500 in cash.

Police say Palmer failed to cooperate with their investigation of what happened to him.

He was treated and released for a wound to the shoulder.

Palmer was booked and released on $6,200 bail.
