The state Division of Energy and Climate is out with tips designed to help you keep warm and save money.
You're advised to keep your thermostat lower at night, and when you're away from home, turn off appliances, computers and lights.
When you're driving, accelerate from stops slowly, drive at moderate, steady speeds, and avoid unnecessary braking by coasting to stop signs and red lights and anticipating speed changes.
