Updated Friday, November 30, 2012 - 1:02pm
A nine-year-old boy is planning to run a marathon on each of the seven continents, and he's starting Saturday morning in Delaware.
Nikolas Toocheck of West Chester hopes to run a million feet for his own campaign called "Running the World for Children."
"I am running a marathon on each of the seven continents while raising money for Operation Warm. Operation Warm is a nonprofit organization that buys new coats for kids that can't afford it. I thought it would be a nice cause to pick because my grandfather started it," Nik said.

He's raised a little more than $1,200 so far. Nik's very first marathon is at Cape Henlopen State Park. His next marathon will be in Ireland in May, and he's planning one in Antarctica in 2016.
