Mayor-elect Willams picks planning director, nominates solicitor
By Frank Gerace

Wilmington Mayor-elect Dennis P. Williams has chosen his Director of Planning and nominated a new City Solicitor.

Williams Friday announced that he's selected Sophia Hanson, who's served 10 years in the city's planning department, to be its director, and nominated attorney Michael Migliore, who's previously been legal counsel to the state House of Representatives and a legal aide to then-Senator Joe Biden, to be City Solicitor.

Williams also said Jeffrey Starkey would continue in his job as Commissioner of the city's Licenses and Inspections department.
