DNREC Polly Drummond Hill Rd. yard waste facility to stay open through Jan.

DNREC's Polly Drummond Hill Road yard waste disposal facility will stay open, at least through January.
The agency announced Friday that if the General Assembly gives its OK, it's keeping the site open to ease the transition to a new site at 39 Brookhill Drive in Newark, to be run as a partnership with private firm Holland Mulch.
The Brookhill Drive site will start accepting Christmas trees for recycling December 26th.
DNREC says Holland Mulch's own facility on Hay Road is another option for you to get rid of yard waste.
