St. Francis Hospital faces $25K in fines for environmental violations
St. Francis Hospital faces environmental record keeping fines from the state Department of Natural Resources.
DNREC says the hospital didn't keep accurate records violating state and federal air quality standards.
Their fines amount to nearly $25,000, but DNREC is allowing the Catholic hospital to suspend $10,000 of that fine if they don't engage in any further violations of the law.
If St. Francis does incur anymore environmental violations, they'll be forced to pay the $10,000.
