Newark PD caught suspects in brutal beating on tape

Can you help police identify these men?

Newark Police need your help identifying two men who brutally beat and robbed a University of Delaware graduate student over the weekend.

Police say the woman from Elkton was walking on the sidewalk on North College Avenue just north of the CSX rail crossing early Saturday morning when she was punched, kicked, and robbed.

The suspects got away with her purse. The woman suffered severe facial trauma, including a broken ear and nose.

The suspects were caught walking on surveillance video.

They're described as two white men ages 19-22, about 5'10". One of the men was wearing a light gray hooded sweatshirt, dark jeans and light sneakers. The second suspect was wearing dark jeans and a maroon headed sweatshirt with white writing on the front and a baseball cap.
