Coons joins in call for benefits extension

Senator Coons Monday joined 41 of his colleagues in calling on Majority Leader Harry Reid and Minority Leader Mitch McConnell to extend unemployment benefits for 2 million recipients through 2013.
Coons added his name to a letter in which lawmakers claimed that ending benefits would hinder economic recovery and hurt the middle class.
