Probing pair of armed robberies in New Castle County

Two armed robberies are under investigation in New Castle County.

A white man around 30 years old wearing a mask walked into Panaderias Mexicanas on North Maryland Avenue in Wilmington at about 5pm Wednesday.

He pointed a handgun at a woman working there and took money from a cash register. He left on foot.

Another man described as white, 5'6" and also wearing a mask held up the BP gas station on Wilmington Road in New Castle at 8pm Wednesday.

Same drill; the suspect pointed a handgun at a worker and left with cash on foot.

The suspects in those holdups remain at large.
