Armed robbers strike at a pizza shop
By Jim Hilgen

Three armed men overpowered two Grotto's Pizza employees and made off with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The incident occurred early Sunday morning at the Concord Pike store.

Authorities say the gunmen confronted a female employee as she was leaving work around 1:30 am.

Once inside the store, the suspects forced a male employee to hand over the money.

Both victims were left bound on the kitchen floor as the suspects fled.

The suspects are described as black males 5'7" to 5' 10" with slim to average builds.

Anyone with information on this crime is asked to contact Troop 2, or Crime Stoppers.
