Happy holidays ahead for area motorists
In a year of record high average gas prices, motorists could be getting a little joy for the holiday season.
For several weeks now, the price at the pump has been falling.
According to Triple A Mid Atlantic the statewide average for a gallon of unleaded regular fell 5 cents to $3.36 at week's end.
Auto club spokesperson Jana Tidwell says motorists could end up paying the lowest price of the year by New Year's Eve.
