UD's Carra win's CAA co-player of the week honors
Delaware senior point guard Lauren Carra has had to shoulder more of the load in the absence of Elena Delle Donne and she's done just fine, winning co-player of the week award in the CAA this week.
Carra scored 15 points, including a last-second game-winning basket, in a win over Princeton on Sunday.
Carra also led the Blue Hens with 16 points in a victory over Rhode Island.
On the season, Carra is averaging just under 15 points per game, 8th best in the conference, in leading the team to a 6-2 record and a 4 game winning streak.
