Wesley offensive lineman Brian Cranmer topped a day of honors for the Wolverines' program by being named a Division III 1st Team All-American by the American Football Coaches Association.

The senior from Cologne, NJ was part of a line that blocked Wesley to 34 points and 365 yards per game on their way to a 10-2 record and an appearance in the South Region Championship game.

Cranmer's nomination marks the 8th straight year Wesley had a player selected by the coaches to their top team.

Meanwhile, linebacker Sosthene Kapepula was named the ECAC South Region Defensive Player of the Year. The sophomore had a team-high 120 tackles including 13 for loss along with 4 fumble recoveries. He was named the Rookie of the Year by the organization last year.

Besides Kapepula, center Tim Putman earned 1st team regional honors on offense, while defensive lineman Devin Hardy and safety Jared Morris were honored as well.
