| Highlights from Delaware's 83-60 win over Penn | Delaware's Jamelle Hagins and Jarvis Threatt scored 18 points apiece to help the Blue Hens overcome an early deficit en route to an 83-60 victory over Penn Friday night.
The Hens snapped a two-game losing streak with the win, despite early struggles that led to Delaware Coach Monte Ross' benching of the entire starting lineup around three minutes into the game.
However, Delaware took the lead with 3:15 left in the first period when Threatt scored on a layup after a defensive rebound. He drew a foul that led to a successful free throw that put the Hens ahead 26-24.
Delaware took a 32-26 lead into halftime and wouldn't relinquish the advantage during the second half.
The Hens improve to 4-8 on the season and won't return to the court until New Years Eve, when they host Rider at the Bob Carpenter Center.
