DNREC encouraging Christmas Tree recycling

If you're planning on taking down your Christmas tree this weekend, you can recycle it.
DNREC is accepting trees at several yard-waste disposal sites statewide through January 26th.
Several sites won't charge you to recycle your tree, but before you drop-off your tree, remember to take the tree out of its stand and take off all decorations, including hooks, wire, and tinsel.
Trees won't be accepted from commercial haulers or tree vendors without prior notification.
