24 year old woman killed in Newark car crash

| Debris and police markings left at the crash scene (WDEL/Andrew Sgroi) | A 24 year old New Castle woman is dead after a two vehicle crash on Churchman's Road in Newark Thursday night.
State Police say at just before 11 pm, 37 year old Robert Vanaskey Jr. of New Castle was traveling west on Churchmans when his car crossed over the double yellow lines into the eastbound lanes near Iroquois Court.
His car hit one headed the other way driven by 24 year old Melissa Foraker who was not belted in. State Police she died at the scene.
Vanaskey was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
No word on whether charges will be filed in the accident.
