By Don Voltz 12:51pm, January 9, 2013 - Updated 1:09pm, January 9, 2013Delaware State Police have released surveillance photos of the suspect wanted in the murder of the owner of a Newport convenience store owner on November 2nd.
The suspect was robbing the Penn Bantam Market on Newport Gap Pike on the evening of November2nd when he vaulted the sales counter and stabbed the owner, 57-year old Hemantkumar Maganlal Chauhan of Newport before making off with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The suspect is described as a black male, around 6 feet tall, 180 pounds.
During the robbery, he was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, a blue baseball cap, a gray scarf covering his face and blue latex gloves.
