2 shot in North Wilmington

One person is killed, the other injured in a shooting which took place in Brandywine Hundred Wednesday.
Police who were called to the residence on the 200 block of Beau Tree Drive around 4 p.m. found a 31-year-old man with a gunshot wound to his upper body, then discovered a 50-year-old woman dead inside the house.
The identity of the victim is being withheld until she is identified by family.
The investigation is ongoing.
