Constitutional amendment introduced that would let felons vote
Convicted felons would have the right to vote if a Constitutional Amendment passes this session.
Rep. Helene Keeley is pushing to eliminate the five-year waiting period felons currently must endure before they can return to the polls and cast a ballot.
House Bill 10 passed last year, but must pass a second time to become law, since it's a Constitutional Amendment.
