Two felons shot in Wilmington
By Michelle Provencher

A shooting in Wilmington puts two ex-cons in the hospital, the culprit is still a question-mark.

Police discovered two men lying on the ground on the 500 block of North Jefferson Street around 5:41 Tuesday evening. One victim had a gunshot wound to his buttocks, the other shot twice in the back.

Both were convicted of felony drug and assault charges. They were transported to Christiana Hospital where they are in stable condition.

The shooter is still on the loose and police describe him as a short, black male in his 20's with a beard.

If you have any information on the incident or the suspect, you're urged to call Detective Michael Gifford or Crimestoppers.
