By Don Voltz

The St. Andrew's-Sanford rivalry continued Tuesday night and the Saints won round one.

As they did a year ago, St. Andrew's knocked off the top team in the state...this time 57-51 on the Saints home floor.

Third-ranked St. Andrew's was led by Austin Tilghman's 18 points, while Jordan Bonner and Ben Bentil each scored 16.

The three-time defending state champion Warriors were led by Sabri Thompson and Kyle Rose, who each scored 12.

It was Sanford's first in-state loss of the season as they dropped to 9-2...St. Andrew's is also 9-2.

The two teams will meet again at Sanford on February 16th.
