Gold Alert for Elsmere man wanted in domestic
By Peter MacArthur

County Police have issued a gold alert for an Elsmere man wanted in connection with a domestic incident.

Police say they went to a home on the first block of Baylis Street late Tuesday night and learned from a woman that her boyfriend, 27 year old Robert Teagle had strangled and assaulted her.

Investigators made contact with Teagle twice since then, once shortly after he was spotted outside the residence in his car Wednesday morning.

The first time, Teagle hung up on police, the second time he told them he was 'down state' but wouldn't elaborate.

Police want to find Teagle because he has a medical condition that has them concerned about his welfare.

He's black, 6 feet tall, 200 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. He may be driving a light colored BMW.
