Three shootings in two days in Wilmington involved drug offenders
For the third time in two days, a convicted drug offender has been shot in Wilmington.
Police say a 33 year old man was taken to Wilmington Hospital Wednesday night suffering from a gunshot wound.
He told police he was walking on the 21 block of North West Street, not far from a shooting the day prior, when two men walked up to him.
He says he tried to take off, heard gunshots and realized he was hit in the calf.
The victim is in stable condition. The suspects are described as black, in their late teens. One was five-five, 140 pounds, wearing a blue vest black sweater and a black knit hat. The other, five-ten, around 225 pounds, wearing a brown vest and hooded black sweatshirt.
