St. Elizabeth used a dominating third quarter to pull away for a 50-38 victory over Caravel Friday night.

The game was knotted at 29-all mid-way through the 3rd period when Jocelyn Rodriguez found Macy Robinson for a lay-up to spark what would become the critical 18-3 run for St. Elizabeth (6-3).

Robinson had a pair of assists during the charge, along with hitting a 12-footer just before the end of the 3rd quarter on her way to a 12-point night.

Caravel responded with a 5-0 mini-run, but could get no closer than ten, as they fell to 6-3 on the season.

The Bucs led 23-21 at the half in a game that featured tenacious defense and lots of close-up shots narrowly missing the target.

Sabrina Hackendorn also scored 12 points for St. Elizabeth, while Alex Thomas added 10. Micah Morgan led Caravel with 14 points.
