County police arrest a New Castle man for his alleged involvement in an armed robbery outside the Garfield Park Police Athletic League Monday night.

Rasheem Jarvis has been charged with attempted robbery after police say he was identified as a suspect in the crime. Police executed a search warrant at his home on Memorial Drive, where he was arrested.

Police say Jarvis faces charges including attempted robbery, assault and and possession of a firearm while committing a felony.

He's being held at the Howard Young prison after failing to post $82,000 cash bail.

Police say they're still looking for a second man, who has been identified as an alleged accomplice in the crime.
