ACORN members garnered support for their "Jobs and Economic Recovery Now" campaign in downtown Wilmington Thursday afternoon.

Several organized labor groups including the State Education Association joined with ACORN, with Pam Nichols of the DSEA saying the economic crisis has trickled from big business, to taxpayers, and to their children, which in turn affects the way teachers deal with their students.

ACORN Delaware president Angela Walker says coalition members came together because a fragile economy affects all Americans.

ACORN hopes one large voice will urge members of congress to support Obama's plan to help jumpstart the economy.
