NCCo Police investigate cutting in Overview Gardens

A New Castle man is injured Thursday evening after a man assaulted him with a sharp object.
It happened on Memorial Drive in the community of Overview Gardens in New Castle.
Police say the victim was eventually able to fight-off his attacker and the suspect fled from the scene possibly leaving in a gray/silver Chrysler Pacifica.
The suspect described as a black male, 35 to 39 years of age, five feet tall, with a heavy build and facial hair.
Anyone with information should call County Police or CrimeStoppers.
