State troopers are investigating the robbery of a Dover liquor store.
It happened around 2:00 p.m. Saturday afternoon at Mr. B's Wine and Spirits on East Lebanon Road, where police say a man confronted an employee at the sales counter and implied he had a gun.
Police say the man then took three bottles of vodka off a display shelf and began to leave.
Police say the employee then tried to hit the suspect with a baseball bat but he was unsuccessful and the suspect ran off with the liquor. No one was injured.
The suspect is described as black, 20-30 years old, 5 feet 8 inches to 6 feet tall, 145-160 pounds, wearing a red hoodie and tan pants.
Anyone with information can call State Police or CrimeStoppers.
