Four month old armed robbery in Newark results in arrest

A four month old armed robbery in Newark may be solved with the arrest of an Elkton man.

20 year old Aaron King of Whitehall Circle and another suspect allegedly accosted a man and woman sitting in front of Building 300 at the University Courtyard Apartments in the early morning hours of September 15th.

The victims say both men had revolvers and as the they tried to get up, the woman was hit in the face with one of the guns.

The robbers stole her cell phone and his wallet and cell phone.

Police say they identified King as a suspect through credit card use and surveillance footage. He's behind bars on 183 thousand dollars bail.

They're still looking for the second man involved.
