Dover gets nearly six inches of snow.

The bout of winter weather triggered a number of accidents in New Castle County even shutting down major roadways like Route 13.

Jim Westhoff of DelDOT says although crews have battled several winter storms this month, supplies and equipment are holding up well.
"Delaware buys our salt in bulk because we have one major state DOT. We have 65,000 tons of salt in 20 locations. I just talked to the folks who buy the salt, I talked to them the other day, they said we got lots of salt, and it gets replenished throughout the winter," says Westhoff.
