Police: Woman assaulted, spit at in Pike Creek

A man is in custody for allegedly assaulting a woman Sunday in the Acme parking lot on Limestone Road.
Police say Paul Tacconelli was yelling profanities at the woman while she was crossing a fire lane.
He then allegedly pushed the 61-year-old woman to the ground and spit at her before fleeing the scene.
The victim was treated at Christiana Hospital for a concussion and injuries to her arm and back.
Tacconelli later turned himself in and faces assault charges.
