The public helps Newark PD take down a burglar
Newark police grab a wanted burglar after getting some help from the public.
Authorities acting on a tip were able to identify and locate a suspect in a burglary at the Continental Court Apartments.
The information led to the arrest of 24 year-old Ian Allston of Wilmington.
He faces charges of burglary, conspiracy and theft.
Police are still looking for Allston's accomplice.
