A New Castle man faces federal charges for using Facebook to intimidate a witness.
Authorities arrested John Boney after they claim he sent a Facebook threat to a witness scheduled to testify against his brother in a federal drug trial in January.
U. S. Attorney for Delaware, Charles Oberly says a Grand Jury returned an indictment charging the New Castle man with witness tampering and interstate transportation of threats.
Boney could face up to 20 years in a federal prison and a 250-thousand-dollar fine.
